There are times in life that show us what really matters.
The last few weeks my brother’s been having some health troubles. Gratefully, he seems to be on the upswing.
I’ve had the opportunity to stay around and help his family by giving them breaks from hospital duty. It has reminded me — once again — of what is really important. Being able and available to help my family is something that matters to me. Putting off some business activities in order to do that is easy and fits into my priorities.
It also gives me an opportunity to assess my priorities. On a regular basis, I like to look at that.
When was the last time you took a look at what really matters to you?
This week, I suggest that you stop for a little while and think about that. Are you devoting the majority of your time and effort to the people and activities that matter most to you?
If so, that’s perfect and the resulting alignment within yourself supports your health and your success!
If you spend more time on what is less important, you will likely discover more energy and happiness when you create a plan to shift your time and effort to that which does matter to you.
Talk to you next week…
To your success!
